Golf Lessons are the key to Fast Tracking Your Game!

You only have to look at the Pro's on tour - they have golf lessons daily!

The golf swing has been described as "Dancing with the Lady" - meaning The Pro's aren't even sure where their swing is going to be the next time they play!

The golf swing is a bit like a fishing line on a reel.

As it gets wound in the line, it goes from one side of the reel to the other. It meanders back and forward on the reel just like your golf swing.

You keep shooting straight shots for a week or two (the middle of the reel)then gradually a slice comes into your game.

You change your stance and your swing plane and before you know it, you are starting to hook the ball.

YOU'RE OFF TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE REEL!

Consistent golf is as elusive as a summer breeze - when you realize how good it is, it's gone!

The journey goes on.

Don't despair - your local pro is only a phone call away. If you can't get golf lessons our tips and links should keep you in the game.

Before booking lessons, you should check what style of swing the pro is going to teach you - the classical body legs timing swing or the arm theory.

If you are 30 plus and maybe a bit overweight, try and find a pro teaching the arm theory.

On one of the many occasions when my swing went off the rails, I was taught the arms swing with a straight back leg. This is a great "go to" system when your body levers aren't in sync or your muscles are tight and not as fluid as you might like.

Quite simply you preset your left side, including your arms, to the impact position and keep a straight/locked back leg.

It sounds crazy but the stiff/locked back leg gives you a fixed pivot point and stops the hips from over rotating. The other part of your game you should overhaul is your fitness as your core body strength and flexability will improve consistancy.
